In the land records there was an entry dated Jan 3, 1787 Jonathan Sanders of Bedford County sold to Robert Clark and Reuben Roland, exec. of Henry Roland, deceased, 4 feather beds & furniture, 3 cows & calves & 1 horse, 10 yrs old. Teste Bennett Clark, Reuben R. Roland, proved by oath. I thought that perhaps he (Jonathan) and Penelope were moving and sold things to the executors for the children who were staying behind. Otherwise why even mention Henry Roland?
My relationship is tentative. My gggrandmother was a Rowland and I am trying to find her family. I'm researching Rowland,Roland.
