I received a bunch of old family photos after the death of my grandmother's younger sister several years ago and among them was 2 copies of a photo of a very cute baby boy. On the back of the photo was written "William Rowland, age 7 months".
I've learned that his full name was William Clifton Rowland, he was born in Cisco, Tx in 1894 and he was the son of Marion and Martha Weaver Rowland. The family moved back and forth from Cisco, Texas to Kansas a few times. Marion Rowland died in Cisco in 1908 and Martha moved from there to California with an older son named Jim sometime after 1920. I can't find any record of William after 1920 in Cisco when he was about 25. I am also still wondering how he is connected to my family.
If anyone has any further information on this Rowland family. I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
