Hi everyone - I'm descended from a Malissa Rowland, born in 1811, and her husband, Harmon Gaskins, born 1808. As the story goes, Malissa's mother was Martha Rouse and her father was John Rowland, but Malissa was born out of wedlock, and her father John soon disappeared from the scene. Does anyone out there have any information on the mysterious John Rowland? Thanks in advance, Travis Griffin
