Aaron Green, Sr. wrote his will in Carroll Co., TN on 26 Oct 1827. It was witnessed by Richard Green and LOYD ROWLAND. There is no indication how these men are related, but one could guess that LOYD ROWLAND was a brother to Elizabeth Rowland Green. The will mentions two tracts of land, one 400 acres and one 50 acres along Big Bear Creek in Montgomery Co., North Carolina, and Aaron Green, Sr. leaves this land to his eleven children jointly.
Where did you locate the names of the the children of Thomas Rowland and Mary Harrison? If these are the parents of your Lloyd Rowland and my Elizabeth Rowland, then Mary Harrison's father, ANDREW HARRISON, Sr. served in the Revolutionary War. He was born about 1735 in Virginia and died in N. Carolina abt 1798. He was a soldier in NC and has Public Service. There is a Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR) application using Andrew Harrison for membership. Andrew Harrison, Sr. was married to JANE DILLARD.
