I live in Ponce Inlet and am very familiar with your family history in our area. I would love to hear more of your father's stories. I cannot tell you how very excited I was when I came across your response to Fran Willis. Currently, there is very little left of historic value in our Town due to development. I,along with several others, have been working very hard to preserve what very little remains of our history. We are in the process of saving the home of the last light keeper's home: Edward Lockwood Meyer. His home was built in the 1920s by Redwood Wharton. Your father's "Aunt Bertha's" home still exists, thank god. Please email me at You and your father would be a goldmine of information towards our efforts.
