Johnathon Rowan was born 1812 in Westmoreland county. I do not know his father's name, but have found a will from Matthew Rowan dating back to 12/14/1853 in which he mentions a son with the name of Johnathon. Since this a unique spelling of the name, I thought it may be him, but I am not sure.
Johnathon married Charlotte J. Hayes who was born 1815 in Greene county PA. They had several children one of which was in the civil war in the PA 105 Volunteers Co G. He went by his middle name which was Harvey. His real name was James Harvey Rowan.
I am looking for Johnathon's parents and siblings.
