Rowan's in Indiana
My maternal grandfather was Paul G. Rowan. I believe his parents were Robert and Catherine Rowan. The only background on ancestry I have to go on is that three Rowan brothers supposedly came to America on a cattle boat from Ireland or Scotland. I think two went north and one went south. My great grandmother passed away and as a result my grandfather and his siblings were put in an orphanage but were able to be reunited somehow. I don't have the full story and grandparents have passed away. If anyone can help me make a connection somewhere I would appreciate it.
