My grandmother was Ida Agnes Supple Rowan, the daughter of Joseph Supple Rowan who came to Pembroke Ontario from Ireland. He was involved in logging operations acroos the Otawa River in Quebec,I believe his wife was Esther or Agnes Livingstone. In 1876 Ida Rowan married Andrew Glen who had come to Canada from Lochwinnoch Renfrewshire Scotland in about 1873.They lived in Pembroke Ontario firstly where my father Rowan McKellar Glen was born. They moved to a farm south of Boissevain Manitoba and then to Enderby BC.
