William J. Mahaney married Elizabeth Rowan 6/22/1904 in Oswego. Family home was 255 W. 5th.Daughter Mary died 4/1909.son Rev. William R. Mahaney died at 76 yrs in Oswego at 255 W. 5th, although he was in Utica/Syracuse, maybe others; Also appears his parents may have left Oswego and died elsewhere although buried in Oswego. He is Buried I believe in St. Peter's Oswego in Priests's Section.
Be aware that headstones may be incorrect; newspapers often mix up names, middle names, etc. If anyone in your family decides to trace Mahaney/Mahony let me know.
Go to www.fultonhistory.com website.Tom has scanned many old newspapers in Oswego and points east & west.Get into old newspapers, put in any combination of your names; you'll be surprised at what you can find-obits, weddings etc.
Good luck
