The earliest James Rowan I have was born about 1805 - 1809 he married Agnes Brown sometime before 1839, they had a son William born 1839 who married a cousin Margaret (her parents were William and Janet Thomson. All lived in Glasglow area Blantyre, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
