James Emile Roux & Nora Planson, of Ohio
Posted by: Terry Spear Date: June 18, 2001 at 20:38:34

James Emile Roux m. Nora Planson (siblings: George & Ida of Stryker, Ohio and Sylvan of San Diego, CA) in Fort Wayne, In. They had two daughters, Francis R. and Esther R. One married a Vernon Reed and the other a P.A. Devine. James Emile Roux was the nephew of George Frederick Roux and the brother of Henry listed in 1957 as living in Risingson, Ohio. I believe that James's father must have come over from France sometime after George did in 1874, then settled in Ohio. However, James, his son, decided to settle in Fort Wayne, where many of his cousins lived. When he died, he and his wife were buried in Stryker, Ohio. There is also a George Planson listed in Fort Wayne who married about the sametime as Nora and James and this George Planson maybe her brother. Then he relocated back to Ohio sometime later.
