If anyone has more history on the Routt family I would be interested. My grandmother, Blanche Routt, was a sister of Eugene Otis Routt. I know a good bit about Milton, Chip (William Atreus), Joe and Alice Clay, but I don't have much of the older history. I grew up in Brenham and spent a good bit of time with the Routt's. Chip (W.A.) took me shooting with he and Nath Winfield. I also used to shoot with Milton Routt's son Chip (I know it's confusing, this Chip was much younger than W.A.). Anyway, please post here if you have additional information. Thanks.
