According to the cemetery records on line from the Bouldin Cemetery, Joseph E. Routt was the husband of Elizabeth Bouldin and the father of two sons, Joseph E., 18 January 1883--24 October 1883, and Milton Lee, 30 September 1884--27 November 1912. Elizabeth (Betty) was born 11 November 1859 and died 4 October 1884, at the age of 25. Joseph E., the father, is not listed as buried in this cemetery. I find on Rootsweb that several have 6 other children listed for this couple, but since Elizabeth died at such an early age, she could not have borne 8 children. However, I cannot find another wife listed for Joseph E. Do any of you trace back to this Joseph E. Routt of Chappell Hill??? I note the same names in several of your queries, so there must be a connection somewhere.
