Hello, This is my line. I am descended from William H. and Martha E. through their second son, Thomas H. Newton. Thomas H. and Eliza (Smith) moved from Illinois to Colorado after Uncle John Routt became Governor of Colorado, and they settled in the Monte Vista area. I am looking for their burial location. Thomas and Eliza's son, William Walter, moved back to Illinois to the home place just north of Cooksville, Illinois. William W. and Mallissa (Hamill) Newton, she was called Jenny, are buried with his grandparents, William H. and Martha, in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Lexington, McLean County, Illinois along with several Newton's of this line. My grandmother was Marguerite (Newton) Withers, the daughter of William W. and Jenny Newton. Would love to share what information I have on these Newton's. Please contact me directly.
