My wife relates to Dr. Kenzie Routh, who is at least one of the Rouths who came to Texas.

She has Benjamin Murrell Routh (named for his maternal grandfather) and Pleasant Mills Routh as siblings of Kenzie Routhand and has a total of seven children born to Joseph and Elizabeth Routh.

Do you have anything on the Revolutionary War service of Joseph Routh?

I would be interested in any of the Routh stories you mention as well or other information about the Rouths if you would email them to me.

I found the following

Dr. Kenzie Routh is buried Pin Oak Cemetery, O'Quinn, Fayette Co, TX
Born: 18 Nov 1811 [born in Sevier Co, Tennessee]
Died: 9 Jan 1875

Amanda Melvina Murrell Routh
Born: 27 Aug 1822
Died: 4 Apr 1909
Married Dr. Routh Jan 31, 1838. Born Lincoln Co, TN
Burial: Pin Oak Cemetery

Z. M. Routh [Zachariah]
Born: 7 Mar 1843
Died: 27 Jul 1862
Burial: Pin Oak Cemetery

Emma Alice Routh Walker
Born: 1 Dec 1847
Died: 30 Jul 1875
Married Dr. W. W. Walker, 29 Jan 1865
Burial: Pin Oak Cemetery

The wording on marble slab on top of crypt of Kenzie Routh:
Doct Kenzie Routh was born in Sevier Co., Tenn., Nov 18, 1811, United with the Baptist Church in 1827 of which he was an exemplary deacon. He graduated in medicine in the University of Louisville in 1851, was a Past Master of the Masonic Order and a member of various temperance and charitable societies. He died as he lived fully trusting in the merits of a crucified redeemer.
