dont know if this will help you or not. I came across this info while searching for my Russell line.

There was a jean Roussel from Guerville,Seine,Maritime was on passenger list of Noir DE Hollande also called Noird Amsterdam date was 11,26,1663
says it was a list of people who left France between october,24 and dec,28 1663

I really dont know how to read how it is all written,just found it abt an hour ago before writting this to you.

I myself am looking for info on a john Russell in Quebec Canada in 1795 time range and found the surname Russell in many differnt spellings. So started typing in seqarch engine under the differnt spellings and came across this info i have given to you. hope it is of some help to you.

I came across a jean B. Rousselle who either leased or bough house and land off a man named philippe Periche in 1764 i think in New Orleans or Quebec Canada could not understand it myself.
