Jeannie,
Have you searched in Alabama? There was a Miles Rouse in AL...I will have to check the dates.
My direct line is Willia (Wiley, Willie, William) was born in NC, married in Lumpkin County GA, and first his child, Mary Ann Rouse, my g-grandmother, was born in Forysth County GA.
Some of the Rouses moved on to Arkansas....mine stayed in AL.
