I am trying to find information on my Great Grandfather and the family that raised him.
He was raised by a member of the Rouse family, he listed his birth location as Boone Co, KY, and he and my Grandfather drove in the 1920's from MO to KY to visit a 'Bessie" Rouse. She was sitting outside, peeling apples when they arrived. It was said that she lived near railroad tracks.
It is possible that she would have lived in Florence or Walton.
Please help, I am very desperate to find anything about him. His name was William Henry Hammon, and he visited with his son, Manford Hammon.
