Cornelius Rourke -Silvermines, Tipperary
Posted by: Mary Ann Date: December 05, 1999 at 16:58:36

Looking for any information on Catherine Gleeson who married Cornelius Rourke. One of their children, James Rourke, was registered in April, 1866 in Silmines, Tipperary, Ireland. Have reason to beleive that both Catherine Gleeson and Cornelius Rourke might have originally been from Killarney, Kerry, Ireland. Catherine was born 8/0, 1826, not sure of Cornelius date of birth. They had 6 children: Catherine born in 1862, James born in 4/1866, Thomas, and Maggie, and two other children. All born in Ireland. The family came to USA Around 1871, and then resided in Chicago, Il.
Any information on this family would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Mary Ann
