Dear Carol,

I am interested in any information that you have on this Mary Roten. According to information I have, my earliest known Rotton ancestor, John b ca 1770, brother to the William that has been posted quite a bit on this page, had a wife named Mary. Is is possible that they are the same? Or she could be the sister of the John and William who raised families in Edgefield Dist of SC? My line from John remained in SC, where I live still today, only about 100 miles from their original settlement. Billie Jones gggg-granddaughter of John Rotton b. ca 1770.
