I am trying to find the marriage record of Esther Duret(te)and Joseph Boudouin(various spelling on this one!). Esther if the granddaughter of Joseph Rougeau and Archang Lussier, daughter of Marie Anne Rougeau dit Berger and Antoine Duret(te). They were not married in La Prairie or St. Philippe had that checked out. Perhaps in Clinton County. They left Quebec about 1830-1835. Wonder why. Do you know of any Metis lines in the family?
