I believe I am also descended from Marie Rouensa (through Michael Philipe). Where do you live? I live in St. Louis, and have been to the original sites. There isn't much left. Does your source mention the church? I can go look around more. I have been searching for more recent details and haven't gotten that far back yet. She would be my 6th great grandmother. Her daughter Agnes Michel married Joseph Hebert. I descend from there.
If I am remembering correctly, there is a connection to Fort de Chartres in IL. The church nearest the fort is no longer standing.
