I have an Alexander Roudebush born in North Buffalo Twp., Armstrong County, Pennsylvania between about 1806 to 1824. He is perhaps too old to be your Alexander, but could be his Father? Can you find his approximate birth date from family records or a grave marker? I have this Alexander being born to John and Lydia Roudebush, both born in the 1780s in Pennsylvania. Alexander has two brothers, John and Emmanuel. He has a sister Mary (1825-1858) married to a Moses Bowser; a sister Elizabeth born in 1830 who marries William Bowser on 17 May 1858; and a sister Eve, who appears to marry her dead sister Elizabeth's husband Moses Bowser. All this happens in Armstrong County. Now going back, Alexander's Father John is the son of Henry Roudebush JR. born 21 November 1753 in Berwick, York, Pennsylvania and his wife Adeline Adams. This couple was living in Greenfield, Bedford, Pennsylvania when they passed on. Henry Jr. was the son of Hans Heinrich Roudenbusch born 6 Jan 1712 in Steinsfurt, Neckar Valley, just East of Stuttsgart, Germany and his wife Anna Maria Becker. Both these Great Grandparents of Alexander came to America and died here about February 1784 in Pennsylvania. Any further information you can add will be helpful!
