J. Thompson,
Shandon is a Village which lies between Hamilton, Oh. & Cincinnati, Oh. on Route 126. I am also researching the Rothermel family and am now in the process of taking photos of all the Rothermels gravestones. I have about a dozen so far and have other to do.
My connection to the Rothermel family is by way of my grandmother Barbara Ann Rothermel. Her father was John Rothermel who died when she was a young girl. Her mother was Emalinda Jenkins who remarried John Callahan DeArmond.
Hope this helps with the geography.
