There is a Rothermel family on the 1798 census from Anton, Russia, possibly immigrating from Germany in 1767. Johann b. 1713 with wife Eva Maria Eckhard, sons Johann Georg b. 1750-1751, Georg Leonhard b. 1749, and daughter Anna Margaretha b. 1756 -- all born in Germany.

IS ANYONE TRACKING THIS FAMILY FORWARD? I am hoping to find a link to my grandfather, Alexander Rothermel born 1879 & g-grandfather, Henry Rothermel b. 1857 in Alexanderdorf, Russia, a daughter colony of Anton.

I believe there is an 1834 census from Anton - anyone have it?

Sure would appreciate some help with this.
