We find David Rothenberger buried in the Fairhaven cemetary in Clinton County, Indiana. There is a son Peter, and a sibling of Peter, Oswill.Oswill was my grandfather.I find in the Clinton county census of 1880 David Rothenberger and Susanna (Diehl) Rothenberger, having a son Peter, a son Oswill and a daughter Elgie.Orvill is shown to have been born in PA and to be 13 years old. This would place him in the PA census for 1870.I do not find him there, no in 1860 (in the case of an age error.I have the obituary for Oswill.I talked with Elgie shortly after his (Oswill's) death and she said that he had been born in a conestoga moving from PA to IN.We have some family pictures which I will gladly share, of the Deihl, and I am certain the Rothenberger ancesters, including a uniformed gentleman with the caption posted as Callie Rothenberger.I also am unable to locate him.The uniform appears to be pre-WW1.Some of these photos were taken at an Allentown, PA studio, and some at a Quakertown, PA studio.I feel that there is a tie to either Bucks County, or Lehigh County, PA.
