Ernest C. Rost etching

I have inherited an etching by this artist. I have had it several years. It belonged to my husband's family. His name was Ernest S. Rost, but I do not think he was a relative. I read many messages on this board, and most of you say you have an etching with a name. Mine is signed by Ernest C. Rost, but there is not a name. It is beautifully framed in a wooden frame. It depicts a farmhouse in the foreground with two plow horses. In the background there is a church with a spire. I do not know if it is original or not, but knowing my husband's aunt (who bought it) I cannot imagine that she would have bought a copy of anything. I strongly suspect it is an original. Would anyone know of the value of these etchings or where one would be able to find out the value. Thank you for any information you can send on.
