Help with Hiram Rosson (b. 1796 NC) line

Am doing some research on Rosson/Rawson lines to find my ggggrandmother Asenath Rawson's family. (She was b. 1812, probably Chatham, NC, d. 1895 WA). She married Elam Snipes 6 Oct 1831 in NC, but have found no primary documents on their births or marriage. I am trying to trace Rossons in Chatham County ca 1830 and follow their lines to find a connection.
I have found Hiram Rosson (John Cummins, Sr.-Joseph-William)(b 1796 Chatham, NC) who married Frances Chamness Feb 1817, in the 1850 census in Decatur, TN, and see some family trees listing him, but am confused as to Hyram G. Rosson.
I had copied John Milton, Joseph Hiram, Alice, Frank, Mary and Henry as Hiram's children from a Rosson family tree, but their birthdates do seem too late to be Hiram's children, therefore Hiram G Rosson is probably the father. However, I have not been able to find much on Hiram G. Rosson, and others seem to not have him listed in family trees. Hiram and Frances Rosson have children with other names in Decatur, TN, in 1850.
Also, is the marriage bond between Sarah Hopson and Hiram Rosson in Chatham, NC, in Jan 1817 the same Hiram (Sr.)? If so, did this marriage ever take place when the marriage with Frances Chamness is listed one month later?
Thank you to anyone who can help with this--I just need an overview of families to trace, but need it to be accurate.
