John Rossiter married Elizabeth Jefferies of Crewkerne on 16th March 1835 at Chard.
They had at least nine children including Elizabeth, George and Joseph (both watchmakers of Weston Super Mare), Ebenezer (watchmaker of Clevedon and Teignmouth - my line!), Eunice and Sarah Ann (these last two also watchmakers in Weston Super Mare).
In the 1851 census, living with John Rossiter in Weston Super Mare was his mother (recorded as grandmother) Ann Rossiter, aged 73, born in Tiverton. John Rossiter is the fourth child of George Rossiter and Ann Marshall married in Tiverton on 6th May 1803.
