I cannot remember the name of the book, but there is a printed Duke genealogy out from the 1950s. The Virginia Rossers married a DeJarnette Daughter from Virginia/North Carolina. That family has Virginia Duke ancestry, and Burwell was one of the given names you would see running in the family. Try "Henry Duke Councilor" as a title.
The DAR might also have some information on this name because there is solid revolutionary war service in the Duke family.
