There are two books that you can check. One is the standard (and very good reference) by Hinshaw. It's on Quaker genealogy and covers alot of the state of Virginia. When you hit the Pleasants in the Rosser family, SLOW DOWN. There are Two of them running around about the same time. Pleasant # 1 is the son of either Jonathan or Thomas Oglesby Rosser. Pleasant # 2 is the son of William Rosser, who is the son of Thomas Oglesby. Only reason I know is that I'm a descendent of #2, and the records drive me nuts on a regular basis. Don't have those notes at an easy to reach spot, otherwise I could be of more help. Most medium to big genealogy libraries will have this set of 2-3 books. Book #2 is Row, Rowe and Rosser. This has alot of the notes that my mother and grandmother worked on in the late 1950s, and should be of some help. Be very careful, though and get a second source for the information. A great aunt of mine gave some wrong information, and it wound up in print. Also, some of the research is totally accurate, and I don't know the total source for this. Hope this helps.
