I just found this response to the Rossell query I placed some time ago, and I think you solved a mystery for me. I don't know whether you know the origins of Robert Buck, but I bet he ties into my Buck family from PA and DE. Do you know if he descended from a James Buck? My ancestor was William Buck who came from County Antrim, Ireland circa 1818. He supposedly came over with three brothers. I have only been able to find brother James. William himself had a son Robert, and his father in Ireland was named Robert.
Would you know any more about a Buck connection?
