My great grandparents James Glanders Ross and Agatha Hazel Ross adopted a 4 yr old girl named Lula Lucile Writz born May 20, 1914 who then became Lula Lucile Ross. The adoption was in Wilcox Co., Camden, Alabama on April 6, 1918. If you know anything about Lula Lucile Ross please contact me. I really want to find out what happened to her. My granfather told me he was raised an only child but these adoption papers prove otherwise. I also found on the 1920 census Lucile daughter of Jim & Agatha Ross age 7, Hazel (my grandfather) son of Jim & Agatha Ross age 14. So you can see why I'm confused, if he was 14 why the lie? I look forward to hearing from you.
