JAMES ROSS 1833 in PA as Guardian of HOLMES Children

I have notes that say that my 3rd Great Grandfather, William HOLMES, died in 1833 in PA. These notes also state that "Mr. James Ross was appointed guardian of the children March 20, 1833." The widow (if alive) would have been Maria DODGE HOLMES. The children would have been Charles Henry, Mary Ann, Cecelia, and William HOLMES.

If anyone has information about James Ross and this guardianship I would be most grateful.
