My William Ross (1797-1866) married Martha Allen (1806-1883)in Illinois. They founded a long line of ROSSes in Scott County and Hancock County, IL that seems to have become extinct in the all-male line.

William's and Martha's children were John Allen (1826-1898), George W. (1827), Elizabeth (1829), Alloueza DEE (1832), Polly (1834), Nancy RAMPLEY (1835), Joseph (1837), Margaret HAMILTON (1839), James (1842-1915), Martha ADAIR (1843-1918), William (1845-1899).

I'd like to find a living male ROSS who descends from that line. We could really help each other.

James Ross
g-g-g-grandnephew of William Ross
