F, p. 135 3 April 1809, probated Apr 1809 Will of James Ross; abstract by Ralph & Herman Ferguson I will to my wf Caty Ross, the plantation I now live on with all horses, livestock, and household furniture during her widowhood, and, if she dies my widow, to dispose of it to my children, viz: Nancy, Peter, Ambrose, Coleman, Reuben, and George Ross who are to be raised on my plantation and educated (from its profits). However if she should marry, my property is to be sold, and proceeds divided equally among my wife and children. Exrs: Friends James Emerson and James Dunn.
