1881 Canadian census show Laughlin (should it be Lochlan or Lochlon?) 42 year old farmer, married to Minie (Minnie?). Their children were: Elizabeth 1863, John 1865, George 1867, Robert 1869, Lena 1873, Jennet 1875, Alexander 1878, Barbara 1880. Were there other children born later? When Elizabeth was married to James Kennedy in 1890, witness was Lena Ross. Elizabeth's sister Nettie Johana Ross was married June 30, 1897. Witness was May B. Ross.
Who were Laughlin's ancestors? Where in Scotland was the family from? When did they immigrate to Ontario?
