Laurie,

Hi, I'm Cindi Rosell from Hornell, NY. My father is Richard, the son of Forrest (Sy). We've been able to track some information. I'll give you what I have.

Charles Rosell married Emma de Rock.
Their children:
Ernest (died in WWI), Archy, Eva, Dearnie and Kathleen.
Before marrying Frank Decker she gave birth to my grandfather, Forrest, who kept the Rosell name and was raised by his grandparents, Charles & Emma.
There has been some speculation that Rosell was originally french but I'm beginning to doubt that. I also have heard that the Rosell's originally came into Canada, down thru Michigan and then over to New York. I don't know about you but it sure explains my sense of direction!!

I love to hear what you have been able to collect!! It is so great to know there are other family members out there!!Please keep in touch.
