Origin of the Rosell name-

Just putting feelers out- my husband's father came directly from the Phillipines 50 years ago- Benny Rosell- one of nine siblings- 6 of the nine stayed in the Phillipines. Would love to know the origin of the name- I get the feeling it was not original to Phillipines. Perhaps Spanish? Anyone with relations that stopped in that area let me know.
