Hi Donna:
Yes I have already spoken with Mrs. Sussell and I have copies of various research done on the family. I had thought my connection was through Lewis but I am not sure. I have just found that Samuel (age 60) was listed in the 1871 census in Percy Twp. on page 6 and my Wm. Henry and Clarissa Sharp were on page 5. I need to find out more about this.Have you seen this census? My Clarissa was born in abt. 1834 in Sidney, Hastings Twp.
Their son Lewis Wesley Sharp is my g grandfather. He came to Clare, MI in about 1878-80 and settled there.
