Roseboom Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Karen,
Have you every run across Forrest Roseboom's death? I spoke with one of his grandson's on the phone last night, and he is trying to track his grandfather down. The last record anyone seems to have of him was when his mother died in 1957--at that time he was living in Dayton, Ohio according to her obituary. In 1952, when his father died, he was living in West Carlton according to his dad's obituary. His daughter, Blanche, had a son out-of-wedlock named Vernon Dana Roseboom. She had the very painful experience of giving him up for adoption when she was only a teenager. He was adopted by the Kyvig family, and his name was changed to James B. Kyvig. His natural father MAY have been Vernon L. Compher, but that is NOT a given and the family isn't sure if Vernon ever knew he might have had a son by Blanche. Later, Blanche married Charles Edward Vetter, Jr. and they had three sons--Dana, Steve, and Gary. Any ideas would be appreciated. I've tried to contact Sandy Hollaway, but haven't gotten a reply. Perhaps she's changed email addresses or is just very busy so any insights would be greatly appreciated.
