Thank you so much for your reply.When I found that your ancestor, John Barkley was married in Ross Co OH I did a Google search and one of the hits was "The Modified Register for Sgt. Hendrick Roseboom",which had not come up when I searched Roseboom.Anyone doing research in Ross please go on this site. I was in Frankfort in Oct. and the Old Methodist Cemetery is now almost non-exsistant with the exception of the soldier's section. Very few tombstones are now standing or are readable.Unfortunately I was not researching this surname at that time.
The researcher unfortunately incorporated Sarah Anderson as a daughter ignoring the Anderson surname in the 1860 census.
