Hello, Shiela,
Please forgive my intrusion into your genealogy.com message board exchange, but I saw your posting for 2/6/09, and in my desperate search to connect with another Roseberry who is related to me, or at least knows about my line,I am giving this a shot. My line, as I know it, is:
James Dabney Roseberry b:1760 VA d:unk
James Richard Roseberry b:1797 VA,NC,or GA d:unk
Richard George Roseberry(mygggrandfather) b:1818 GA d:1855 MS
My ggrandfather, grandfather, father and I were born in MS. We lived there from the mid-1830's thru late 1900's. My FTDNA project and a surname project both indicate our origins were in western UK:England, Scotland or Ireland, but I've yet to connect with another Roseberry from these searches. Please let me know if you are familiar with any of my line. Would like to know of your family, as well. Thanks, jerry roseberry
