Not related...........just a lookup Hi Judith, When you are trying to connect with others on a family group....details in your query are very important. State/location.......dob/dod, even if its 'about' gives a starting place to look.....names of those in the family group. After reading the 3 different queries you posted on this ROSE family site, I think I might have found the 1930 census for them. Is this the ROSE family group you are talking about??? 1930 West Virginia, Putnam Co, Hurricane Town Rose, Henry J. 31 md @21, bn WV...wks for Railroad , Marie 25 md @15, bn WV , Isabell 7 bn WV, dau , Francis 5 bn WV, dau , John H. jr 3 & 2months bn WV, son , Billy R. 1 & 4months bn WV, son Household above this one is a Jack W. Rose 38 bn WV, wks for the railroad.....wonder if this may be his brother? If this is the right Rose family group; the two men above filled out their WW1 Draft Registrations as: John Henry Rose bn 16 Apr 1898...states his father is F.C. Rose..... Is his father Flemming C. Rose??? Walter Jackson Rose bn 17 Mar 1893 (aka Jack Rose above)bn in Putnam Co, WV...married Sooooo, no Wallace there. But I found a marriage record that appears to be a good match for Fleming C. Rose...1900 census states married 14 yrs and the spelling on the wife's name is hard to make out..looks like, Lun------..worth checking out & order a copy. West Virginia Marriage Records, 1863-1900 Name: Fleming Rose Spouse: Luanna Thompson Marriage Date: 1 Aug 1886 County: Cabell State: WV Ordering a copy of Marie's death record should offer more clues on her lineage./ Good luck Marsha Notify Administrator about this message?
