I know how valuable my old photos are to me so I spent some time searching for your Everette F. Rose; hoping to give you and others some addtl clues.
Checking the census records for California this is the only one I found that would fit into your time frame.

They are on the 1900/1910/1920/1930 CA, Alameda County census records. If this is the right Everette F. Rose, based on the census records, they had NO children. Married in 1897. Everette owned a Bicycle Shop/Company at 1731 San Pablo, Oakland, Alameda Co, CA.
If no children were born to this marriage, maybe a descendant of Everette's siblings would like to have it. Hope something here will be of help.
