I am looking for information about Leonora M. E. Rose, married to Enoch H. Gatewood November 28, 1850 in Boonville (I think) Mo. Their daughter Josephine "Josie" Gatewood was born January 25, 1852, Boonville Mo. Enoch was an editor of the "Boonville Observer" and died January 1853 in Jefferson City, Mo., but I know nothing of the cause of his death or the future of his wife. After his death Josie was raised by Thomas D. and Mary E. Gatewood Northcutt, her father's sister. I have no information about her mother Leonore M. E. Rose or the Rose family in Missouri. Any information would be appreciated. Josie eventually made her way to Texas and married Thomas Rountree October 28, 1868 Travis County, Tx., died December 22, 1902, buried Fairland Cemetery, Burnet County Texas.
