Mary is named in the will of her father Robert Rose in his
Harrison County dated 16 March 1840, proved 7 December 1840. He calls her daughter Mary Rose alias Mary Van Horn. The will was dated 16 March 1840. The marriage of Mary to her Van Horn husband is recorded in Harrison County.
