Not related..........just a lookup.

Census work is so important and can offer many clues. I believe I found your Joseph K Rose with his family

1900 PA, Philadelphia Co, Philadelphia
Rose, Jos K 46, bn Apr 1854 PA, md 22yrs
, Emma 44, bn Nov 1855 PA, md 22yrs, 5 kids/2 alive, wife
, Jos K jr 21, bn Apr 1879 PA, son
, John H. 17, bn Nov 1882 PA, son
**Jos being an abbreviation for Joseph**

1880 PA, Philadelphia Co, Philadelphia City
Rose, Jos 26 bn PA
, Emma 25 bn PA, wife
, Jos 1 month bn PA, son

From the WW1 Draft Registration records the son Joseph K Rose appears to be:

World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918
Name:        Joseph Keen Rose
City:        Philadelphia
County:        Philadelphia
State:        Pennsylvania
Birth Date:        11 Apr 1879
Race:        White
**and since he is listed as a JR.....I would bet that the father is also Joseph Keen Rose**

Hope something here is of help,
Marsha
