I am looking for Francis Rose sr.who is on the 1762 Rowan County N.C early tax list along with Emanuel,Francis jr.,and John , the thinking is Francis sr. is the father of aboved mentioned men, they also appear on the 1766 list. 1790 Francis sr. and Francis jr are not there they are in Wilkes. John sr. is listed with some of his sons on the Burke Co. ( Samuel the pensioner is a. brother also)
the John is whom I desend in later he is John Rose sr.of Rowan Co. Va.
I have not found any Francis in the Block Island Line. and I can not find a Francis in N.C. until 1762. He would have to be born about 1689-1700 because John sr. may have been born about 1730.
Do you have any John, Francis,that may fit.
Now I have about 5 descendants from John Rose sr. that are on the M-M1 group. One of these is his son John brother to my Isaiah my 4 great grand father. and Francis son of Samuel the pensioner.
