Nancy, Ezekiel ROSE is quite likely the son or grandson of
Jonathan ROSE & Jane Nearon (Williams) who lived in the Bellport area of Long Island and he, along with other family
members removed to New Jersey in the 1730s time period where
he lived the remainder of his life. This is consistant with
the data collected from Suffolk County, NY, on this family and it is supported by the DNA results for descendants of this Ezekiel ROSE family. Several earlier propositions had
him being of the Block Island Tormut ROSE family but I know
of NO support for that theory that refutes the DNA tests.
